My Faith Odyssey

Hello friend, thanks for being here. My name is Brooke Schroeder. I love to share my journey and walk with God with others. God has given me the spiritual gift of the prophetic, words of wisdom, and knowledge. My journey of getting to know God has not been easy. But what I do know is that, even with faith the size of a mustard seed, it can move mountains! Gods unending love has always been chasing after me but I didn’t reciprocate it back until I found myself in an abusive, toxic sinful relationship in college. It was there in the muck that God pulled me out and truly saved me. I continued to live in sin however because I didn’t know God fully. I then found myself a couple years later in the hospital with my 21 month old daughter in critical condition and I begged God that if he saved her life, I would do anything for him in return and it was there where I was born again and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and his gifts. I continue to grow my relationship with Jesus every day since then and will continue to, forever!

There’s something about Gods word that really speaks to me whenever it mentions any rivers, streams, and brooks. These all symbolize sources of water, life, and spiritual nourishment. God has told me that, that is why my name is Brooke. Because I am a source of spiritual nourishment to others.

1 Samuel 17:40: “He went out to a brook and picked up five smooth rocks and put them in his leather bag. Then with his sling in his hand, he went straight toward Goliath.”
